Check this out. On the right is my drawing and on the left is a drawing of my art student Nora who is 11 years old.
Nora is always sick and allergic to everything and has been home from school for about a month now when her mom asked me to give her art lessons again (Which I used to do about a year or two ago)
NoW LOOk AT THIS
That little girl is so freaking good. What we do is I sit with her and slowly draw and ask her to repeat what I’m doing she’s such a freaking perfectionist she measures lines to make sure they look similar to mine. She even tries to imitate the amount of strokes I do while sketching asdjsjdbskbsh since I’ll be drawing more with her I’ll upload more pictures of new and previous work that we have. She’s freaking awesome and that’s nothing compared to how our first art lesson went… OkAY STORY TImE
I go in for our first lesson and I’m nervous as shit because little kids are scary as hell and they all hate me … and I tell her how its best to listen to music while drawing so her mom brings in a CD and its some shit like Kidz Pop 4. Nora shakes her head and goes “nonononono”leaves the room, comes back, puts ina new CD, and I realize that she totally put in Michael Jackson and were about to start off our lesson with Smooth Criminal. Needless to say I was in love.
I can never get the other method to work that I have seen here on some tutorial blogs. So I found another way which is much more simple in my opinion. I am not sure if it will work on later versions of photoshop. I am using the cs5 version.
